Our stay in Arrawarra

A busy 4 days

sunny 21 °C

Well wev'e had a very busy 4 days in Arrawarra. We wull be leaving here tomorrow (Wednesday 21st Aug) morning to continue our journey.
It was really great to spend some time with Naomi Greg and Dalton.
We did spend a little time walking on the beach at Arrawarra which was great.
A good friend of Greg's went fishing and caught a large snapper. greg tried to convince us that he caught it and we took a photo od him and Hiroe and the fish.
However the truth is as shown in the photo below with the true catcher of the fish.
Last note for tonight is a photo of the family at Arrawarra (with us of course).

Our proposed 2013 trip to Queensland

overcast 19 °C

This is the PROPOSED 2013 Trip. If this year is like previous trips we may not actually follow this route - we'll just have to wait and see what transpires.

Well we left home yesterday (16th August) and travelled up towards our daughters home at Arrawarra (about 50 km north of Coffs Harbour). We got as far as Johns River before pulling in for the night in the yard of the local hotel. There was another couple there in a caravan and they had a lovely fire going and it was great to sit around and have a couple of glasses of wine with them.
This morning we continued on to Arrawarra booked into a caravan park for 4 nights and just about imediately had to get into daughter Naomi's car with grandson dalton and his mate and drive back down the highway to Kempsey (210km) so that Dalton could play in his Under 16 Rugby semi final against Coffs Harbour team. Well - they didn't win so now their season is finished.
Well - there you have it - Entry No. 1.
